In the UK “about time”, finally feels like it should May time.

Summer is approaching!

I know this sounds silly but, it’s going to feel odd this time going on holiday with the boy, just because it’s going alone with him in the family village in Italy..

It’s not just the ‘going away’ part with just the boyfriend I’m on about, been doing that since I was like 15! It’s more the point that it’s my childhood holiday home and I dunno, it’s kinda like visiting family too.. Fair enough I stayed for a whole summer one year, but I had my mother or “Nonna” (Grandma) there to bail me out and speak italian for me, when scared lol. Whereas this time, It’s just me and him.. and he only knows “ciao, parla inglese?” aka, “hello, do you speak english?” and if they say “no”.. it’s my turn to try and get us somewhere!! :(

Just know it’s going to feel ever so strange, but in a good way :D Remember the last time I laid in that bed in the house, I was in such a bad place, sad and confused.. used to stay up all night thinking about what I’d lost and how I’d changed (AKA University first year) Whereas this time, It’s the complete opposite, I will be there, safe, happy content with Jake. not only my boyfriend but my best friend :) So I am excited, don’t get me wrong.. very infact. Just I hope he likes it there and it doesn’t become to stressful as we’re actually having to do everything on our own 2feet, no package holiday malarky!

Finally grown up and taking responsibility out there.

After having dinner round my papa smurfs tonight, getting all the info and stuff about the house and where to go, it’s all coming back to me slowly, so I guess all those years of going as a child, relying on parents to do certain things, I did take notice of more things than I thought! :)  

Shall just be an exciting 3weeks ahead; Italy, Graduation, Canada Payments and Starting my NEW JOBBY, not to mention training for the police and stuff! :D

Safe to say.. officially starting to feel like an ADULT! Eeep.
